i'm here and still reading, praying and pulling for all of you.

i broke my left pinky and will be splinted and buddy-taped for at least 4 weeks, so i won't be typing much for a while. just wanted to let you know i haven't deserted you or this issue and will be keeping up with all the new posts.

let me pose a question for you. one that i was asked recently-

what type of communications would you like to see coming from ntm? how often? to whom? etc...

Since they very seldom put anything on and they don't say much. I agree with D&O, once or twice a week. At least something...We feel abandoned..but what is new?

In answer to your question, only once: When NTM would like to lay everything on the table and actually com clean and provide information on all abusers and accept full responsibility for any cover ups along the way, breakdown of leadershil, etc.

To state the obvious. . . New Tribes Mission knows which schools have had reports of abuse. They know when the abuse occurred, and they know when it came to light. They know the names of the perpetrators. They also know whether or not it was reported to the authorities in the land where the crime was committed, or in the passport country of the criminals.

Have they been "well advised" to continue hiding this information?

Why are victims and their families left to try to piece this information together on their own?

I think it would have been a whole lot easier if they had just done the right thing from the get-go.
