They don't have to silence MKs they just ignore them and get on to the great things of making things safe for kids now in their policy. They had policy in place before did it do any good? It would be nice to trust them but very foolish. NTM has to earn the trust of missionaries, MKs, churches that know about the abuse, many don't know I am sure, and interested outsiders. They have a record of at least 20 years of hiding the truth, they won't change in a few months.
NTM mission is not the only mission. Just read a statement that C&MA had written to all MKs abused at Mamou in 2009. The mail is just like it was in Africa when I was a kid, I still haven't gotten a letter, and neither have some of the other MKs. Interesting, things just don't change. As I say the missions just ignore the MKs, make public statements that everything is fine. How is the MK going to contradict such statements?
