The world is waking up to clergy abuse.
Gymnast abuse.
Why not to MK abuse?
What's going on in Australia with the Royal Commission over there, Bemused?

That was a very quick answer from Star Telegram!
Clap! Clap!

A Little Christmas Poem ;)

On the first day of Christmas
My parents said to me
Behold we will be Tribers
Creme de la creme la missionary

On the second day of Chrismas
We told our kith and kin
All were sorely amazed
And said we needed our heads looking in

On the third day of Christmas
We arrived at training camp
They put us in a stable
Which was cold, dark and damp

On the fourth day of Christmas
I began to doubt the call of the Lord
But I sort of smiled feebly
For I wished not to be smote by holy sword

On the fifth day of Christmas
We packed our bags for foreign parts
Girded up our loins
To save the Brown Gold hearts

On the sixth day of Christmas
I swore we'd arrived in hell
Not only was it really hot
It had an awful smell

On the seventh day of Christmas
I started mission boarding school
It was a culture shock
For boarding school was not cool

On the eighth day of Christmas
Things happened that were really weird
But they said I must keep quiet
For the black souls could be seared

On the ninth day of Christmas
I came back to civilian life
But I found it a trifle hard
To move on from mission strife

On the tenth day of Christmas
I wrote to the mission to complain
But they said they were now absolved
For they did change their name

On the eleventh day of Christmas
My family said I must forget
Forgive what they said happened not
And be grateful for all I'd met

Now it's the twelth day of Christmas
And my true love said to me
"My, my you've had real adventures
And now you is flying free"

So Merry Christmas friends and friends
Let the frivolity and poetry flow loose
And raise a glass to good health and happiness
But make mine an orange juice

On the 13 day of Christmas
I got really really pissed
But it only happened once
So rehab i missed

Merry Christmas Eagles, fly high!!!!

Outstanding moment--not good for humility....
In a face to face meeting recently
Someone asked
So you're Mosquito Bite?
Lowering my eyes
I answered in a small voice

yes.........

That made me smile, MB! Yes, to your many readers, you are our much-loved Mosquito Bite!

And I am Raz.

;)

Thanks!
We fly high.
They slither around in the bushes.
Maybe I can buzz them out! :D

I had missionary parents
They dragged me off to serve the lord
We slew that naughty satan
With our divine mighty sword

But there was other missionaries
And they were doing gods work too
Except twas a different god
Or a version we did not wanna view

So when we finished converting natives
Teaching them god was really love
We beat the you know what out of the competition
And to hell condemned them with a shove

Which got me round to wondering
And confudlement rose in my head
So I thought "a plague upon all thy houses"
And tucked myself up in my little bed :?

Hello New Tribes Mission
Is anybody there
Or are all thee in the chapel
Offering up a little prayer

"God take away this cup
It is to much to bear
This negative publicity
Doth hinder "the work" in despair"

"We ask not forgiveness
For twas so long ago
And times were different then
And it was way over there"

"Look God, we have new policies
So this will not happen ever again
And our lawyers are richly blessed
Defending those errant men"

I'm still on the line
Think I've just joined God on hold
Me thinks this latest revelation
To the "Untold Millions" will not be told

And since I am not sure how long they will keep this on the front page of their website, here is Ethnos360's response:

https://ethnos360.org/mission-news/nbc-story-followup

As we watched the interviews of the victims of horrific abuse, we are heartsick. The actions of the perpetrators go against everything we believe about the value of children and our responsibility to protect them.

While we grieve these actions and know we cannot change the past, we continue to work to see perpetrators brought to justice and remain committed to the safety of children.

Since those early days, our organization has incorporated significant child safety training, updated policies and extensive screening. These are mandatory for all members. Education of children is also handled very differently today. Most of our overseas members choose homeschooling for their families or have access to a daytime-only schooling option. During this 2018-2019 school year, only seven children of our members (worldwide) are boarding at our schools.

We have also established a process, called IHART, which is tasked with reviewing any historical allegations.

Where is the word SORRY in this statement?

Sorry for covering this up.
Sorry for letting these criminals go free.
Sorry for the destroyed lives.
Sorry for calling victims "bitter" and "not walking with the lord".

There is no SORRY.
