God is patient. He his so powerful. But He demonstrated His love for each of us, when His Son Jesus Christ died for us, the ungodly. I John ... how can I say I love God, if I don't love my brother. Jonathan Parker is my brother. Larry Brown is my brother. How dare I be selective in my obedience to I John. But if we love them (NTM leadership), then they will not .... see, our confidence is in man. By default, we seem to look for human solutions and human justice. The One with nail-scarred hands, who died for Frank Parker, created the universe. He waits patiently, not willing that any should perish, including the members of the Z'oe tribe that Edu, Onésimo, Silas and others worked so hard to reach. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, by your love for one another.
I've read on this website that God's Word is a trigger, perhaps something that causes people who have been tortured, sexually abused, demeaned, to further withdraw. The Bible is linked to the people that caused so much devastation, and who continue to torture by their slowness (see Penn State for not as slow).
My sister once told me, finally someone fought for her. That makes a brother feel useful, feel like a protector.
But the true Protector, the true Savior who hung on a cross, He told Peter to try the other side of the boat. And when Peter saw all the fish, he made a beeline for Jesus. Jesus didn't say, I will give you hint if you're really sorry for denying me three times. May we make a beeline for Jesus. May He be high and lifted up today in New York City, because when He is high and lifted up, He will draw all people to Himself. And may He tell Arden Callahan to get that trumpet warmed up. Why not today, Dear Heavenly Father. Your Son is anxious to be with His bride. He paid the price so all might have a relationship with you, as You did in the garden with Adam and Eve. Who has resisted your will, Jehovah? You are the great I AM. We wait patiently.
