But now, it's NTM USA this and NTM USA that. Clever move. Avoid responsibility by pointing to separate corporate entities. That's why the 1994 letter from the Scott Ross/EC praises the field committee in terms of their handling of Frank Parker...but the Theresa Sidebotham/ihart report fails to mention the Executive Committee, Sanford, Florida, the United States, the Northern Hemisphere, but nails field committee members.

New Tribes can have all the classes, seminars, etc.....but I have yet to see written evidence that they see themselves as subject to local laws and local law enforcement.

When I land at Guarulhos, my entrance into, stay in and exit from Brazil are governed by Lei 6.815/80 and the rest of the ordenamento jurídico of the República Federativa do Brasil...not by some whitewashed code of self-preservation designed to reach tribes while trampling on children.

I think submission to authority is a huge issue for New Tribes.
It's not a church, even if it calls itself one for purposes for tax/corporate filings.
It doesn't submit to a group of elders. Its leaders may attend churches in Sanford, PicklePondville, etc., but the entity is not under the auspices of a church.
As seen in the 2002 child protection manual, it doesn't submit to local laws and local law enforcement.
Its members have been taught to obey the mission leadership, without questioning them, even if the welfare of their child is at stake.

Here in the U.S., a child enjoys the protection of its parents, school personnel, the courts, local/state/federal law enforcement, child and family services, etc.

In Vianopolis, the pedophile was protected by Scott Ross and his feelings.
