I know, the "undeveloped chest" part is appalling. In case anyone didn't know this, whether your chest has developed yet or not, you still have all the same nerve endings. You feel the same thing from touch that you would feel when you are developed. Your body would react the same to touch whether or not you are developed. And I can guarantee that that reaction is what Steve was after. As a child, I did not understand my body at all and did not understand what was going on. But I know that Steve knew. In looking back now, I can tell by his sick smile that he knew exactly what he was doing to my body. As a married adult now, it's hard for me to even fathom the sickness of it all. Something that God intended for pure pleasure between married couples, he used against an innocent child who had no knowledge whatsoever of what was happening. To talk about it as if it was an accidental brush up against me is absurd.

As for the Revelator . . .didn't the apostle John already cover that one. Now, if you mean that OT and I ought to collaborate on a new series of Federalist Papers . . .hmmm I just might could get up enough gumption to do that thar thing!

I have been thinking of Steve's daughters today and my heart is heavy for them. I have been trying to think of how I can explain this better in a different context. I'm going to try. Please don't take offense if I don't succeed in demonstrating this the way I am trying. I know I always understand better with stories and examples.
Say you are in the hospital about to deliver your baby. There are complications and your baby doesn't live. You are overcome with sorrow over your loss. A friend comes to visit. You are hoping for someone who will hold your hand, listen to you, be silent with you, support you, and understand. Instead your friend comes in loudly and tells you that you'll just need to move on. What's done is done. You have no reason to feel all that you are feeling. Because of the extreme pain your friend caused you from her words and actions, you don't want to be around her again. It is obvious she doesn't want to understand your pain or hear of it. And being with her may cause you more pain. So you avoid her although you have forgiven her hurtful and ignorant words. Through the years whenever you do have unfortunate contact with her she tells you that you're just not living in victory with God. You are filled with anger and bitterness over your loss and you really just need to let it go.
All you wanted was for someone to listen to you, to your pain, to seek to understand, and you got nothing but accusation.
This example doesn't include the sin aspect which is what abuse is. But I only wanted to demonstrate the other side of it. Cousins, I hope you can see this and understand. You are both moms so I hope this example makes sense to you. Can you put yourself in this example and understand how you would feel?
