I've been reading the Eagles site for more than the past 3 years. It didn't take me that long to read through all the forums, but at times it seemed like it would I'm a new arrival, but not a new-comer.

Paul, it amazes me that you have been around long enough to remember our soccer game! The reader meter climbs every day, but it has been impossible for me to picture just who in the big wide world those numbers represent. I had hoped there were more than a few current NTM members sticking around, but how could we have known?

Raz, you've got to admit, the soccer game was a classic and brought out some real writing talent, just like the poetry thread gets some creative posts.

The Soccer World Cup is not far away and is being held in Brazil, bet all the South American MKs are besides themselves with excitement, but who will they be cheering for?
Remember the last World Cup and the little country who's team was the only team to not loose a game in the tournament? Yep, that was us down here. Of course we conveniently forget to mention we didn't win a game either, got all draws and were outski in the first round, but we never let the facts obscure a good story

P.s. Paul, on the top left hand side of your screen is a section that says "new messages", this is where you pick up your fan mail, cyber hugs and semi expert answers as to why posts disappear. Just click it and behold . . .

Friends, if anyone would ever compare and contrast my posts and analyse them thoroughly--you would find a latent skitzo. It might depend on how many hours of sleep I had--how well I was eating, how paranoid I've been feeling, if I'd been to therapy yet, etc, etc.

It's a discussion board . . .a process in action, by us. Although we parce away at the tidbits that NTM gives us just like we did in the theological institute of choice, I would find it a bit demeaning if anyone did that to my posts. Look at the general tone, the broad, big picture of what I am attempting to convey. Love does that . . .

Oh no. If you're a latent skitzo based on analysis of your posts, imagine my diagnosis

Over 3500 posts, ranging from rants to poetry, theology to comedy. Interestingly I've never been accused of telling any lies. I have made the occasional mistake, such as promoting Pat Hendrix to being a lawyer and getting the sides on the American Civil war mixed up (very sorry about that, but it was a long time ago and I wasn't there in person, cuz I'm down here, but you're all friends now aren't you? ).
I've had the occasional vague threat to stop posting, but even then the facts have never been disputed.
There has been a varied reaction to the posts. Raz alone has lost her dentures many times when reading some of the adventures of her self deluded Kiwi MK colleague and then emptied her tissue box over pieces of poetry.

So after you have finished on the Fanda Eagles psych analysis couch, being diagnosed, I guess it is my turn. I could be there a while and the diagnosis could be long and complicated.

Of course being a nurse, I should be able to diagnose myself. Just let me know when it is my turn for the couch.


P.s. This being an open forum, my diagnosis shall be posted for all to see. It will come with the appropriate health warning and disclaimers, a full report will be available to anyone who applies . . . .

I've always been a little disappointed to not have a proper couch for therapy . . .i think it would be soothing, too, to not have to make eye contact .

And another point of pique--there's just not enough labels anymore! For quite some time, I would just get handed a script, and be told to take it easy. The rest was up to me . . .Grrrrrrrr.

And of course, it's all about moving forward, and getting actions aligned with values . . .

The days of getting a two week hiatus from work are gone as well . . .if you take time off, you lose your clients, your standing . . .

No one lets you feel sorry for yourself at all!!!

If I ever get a proper couch, with good old fashioned talk therapy, no eye contact required--plus time off in which to moan--I won't be giving it up, even for you, Bemused!
