When I asked NTM Australia for info they sent a threatening e-mail back after 18 months saying they would not respond to allegations.

This seems to be a tactic of NTM worldwide. It is called painting themselves as the victim. Chances are they will be telling their members and supporters, that they are "under attack" and all the usual diatribe that goes along with that angle of thinking.

Of course if they had done the right thing in the first place, we wouldn't have to go to the lengths we do, would we?

NTM. An employee of mine made an inappropriate sexual comment to a girl in another department. I learned of this two weeks after the fact. I did not investigate for six months. I did not form a panel. I terminated his employment effective retroactively to the date of the alleged offense. I did not make a public statement due to defamation concerns. But I fired him. And he knew why. And the victim knew why. Full Stop.

Full stop.

Am I the only one outraged that theyre allowing the earls to remain on insurance??????????? Im totally disgusted, although I wouldnt expect anything less. What happened to the consequences of ones sin? Its pretty simple really, I mean I teach it to my toddlers..... gary sinned, it effects him and his wife, ergo no insurance, cushy life or retirement. I mean im sorry she has cancer, but really???? Its not like hes a toddler who was sassy or threw a fit. He ABUSED CHILDREN!!!!! No way on earth should they have ANY form of benefits. Again, like I tell me children, should have thought about that before you made that decision!! Then again, were talking about NTM....

I hear you NotQuite. I do feel bad about her cancer. But I feel worse about the children he abused and the lifelong consequences they are living with. It is not right.
If only we could get ntm to express a fraction of the kindness they show abusers to the MK"s instead.
