Larry Brown, why doesn't New Tribes Mission self-report itself to Pam Bondi?

4 So about three thousand went up; but they were routed by the men of Ai, 5 who killed about thirty-six of them.

Larry Brown, chairman of New Tribes Mission,

I was just watching your video.

You stated that no darkness is too dark for God.

I agree.

Get your flashlight and a machete and let's shed some light on New Tribes Mission's role in the sexual abuse of children at its boarding schools around the world.

New Tribes Mission continues to trust God, and God continues to be glorified. Today more than 3,000 missionaries serve throughout the world, and training programs in more than a dozen countries prepare missionaries for service among the thousands of tribes who have yet to hear.

Meet Your State Attorney
Phil Archer

Phil Archer Phil Archer, a life-long Brevard County resident and a 28-year veteran of the criminal justice system, was sworn in as State Attorney for Brevard and Seminole counties on Jan. 8, 2013.

Phil’s stated goal is to keep his neighbors in the 18th Judicial Circuit safe. He brings a wealth of tools to the job, including prosecutorial experience and community advocacy. Most recently, he served as the head of Operation Cease-Fire where he reviewed and made filing decision on all firearm related crimes. Operation Cease-Fire is an effective crime-fighting partnership between the State Attorney’s Office, federal prosecutors and agents, and state and local law enforcement which targets gangs and armed criminals for both federal and state prosecution.

Maintaining the high standards of just and successful prosecution and advocacy for victims will remain cornerstones of Phil’s administration and will be joined by an increasing emphasis on white collar crime, such as identity theft, and crimes against the elderly.

Phil’s work on crime prevention and outreach programs through the Neighborhood State Attorney Initiative has laid the groundwork for these areas of emphasis. Both the Neighborhood State Attorney and Cease-Fire were untried in the Central Florida area, but Phil, through his community connections, knowledge of the law, and understanding of the area, was able to organize and implement both of these programs into award-winning models. Additionally, he recently received the “Forerunner Award” from Weed & Seed for his leadership and commitment to grassroots crime prevention programs and also recognition from area veterans groups for his work with the annual Stand Down Brevard, an outreach program for homeless veterans. Phil is also a nationally recognized speaker on community outreach and crime prevention and has lectured at the National Advocacy Center on topics for the National District Attorneys Association. In 2010, he received the Brevard County Bar Association Government Attorney Professionalism Award.

He previously served as a Division Chief in the Brevard County State Attorney’s Office in several major slots as well as worked as a felony and misdemeanor trial attorney. He ran the White Collar Crime, Civil and Consumer Fraud unit for over 10 years. He has won the annual State Attorney Office “Pride In Excellence” award twice.

Phil’s undergraduate degree in political science is from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctorate Degree is from Florida State University. The 52-year-old is an Astronaut High School graduate who still lives in the north Brevard area with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children. Together, they enjoy travel, hiking, music, and reading.
