Yes it is Sunday down here. And I agree with everything Bemused said. Raz, you are a wonderful caring genuine Christian. My inbox only had one message in it when I disappeared for some time, it was from you.
Now to clear up a little matter. I Aussie from Beyond the Black Stump, am not and never was an Australian. For some of us there are people in our unfortunate past who we fear if they learn our identity will retaliate. We are not all as brave as Bemused who anyone can figure out who he is and who speaks honestly and from the heart without much fear for his own safety. Some of us have gone to elaborate lengths to make sure very few know who we really are. PNG was a field with some seriously violent men and what they did to us and the locals still haunts us.
However with the arrest this week and the pictures of one pervert in jail looking absolutely pathetic, the tide has turned and it is not us victims who are scared any more, but NTMs long list of offenders, because it is blatantly obvious to all but the really thick, that this is just the tip of the ICEberg and that in all likelihood there will be more arrests. It will be interesting to see which missionaries suddenly find that their god is telling them that they should not go on furlough for a long time and that they are suddenly called to stay on the field. Which will be a dead giveaway that they are shit scared of being met at the airport by a welcoming committee of very official looking people with the power to arrest, detain and ask some very hard questions.
So now you are all thinking, now if Aussie is not an Aussie, where is Aussie from. Well you will have to sit quietly, behave and be nice to each other, while I keep you in suspense.
Aussie fears no more
The fear is on the other side
You can run, you can fly
But from justice you cannot hide
Someone got their man
More surely they will get
Aussie can relax a bit
