There was a time A long while ago When childhood dreams Did ebb and flow
When all was good And fun was had Then the world Went rather mad
And those around Went in the ear Turning thoughts To dread and fear
So from staight and narrow We'd not wander But no questions allowed Or to think and ponder
And childhoods came And childhoods went And god was feared Repent, repent
Repent from what We did cry From the tiny speck In our little eye
When what we saw When we dared to look Was grevious moats That childhoods took
So we escaped In body only To live as adults Fearing and lonely
And the nagging Nagging, nagging fear That god would get us If speak out we dare
And now at last The tables turned We are now free To see the lies get burned
To walk among What we have missed The flowers, birds and trees We live, not just exist
And some will walk With God again While others write With hopeful pen
If with God or friends No cause to walk alone For this Christmas MKs are to childhoods coming home
Reach out to one Reach out to all This is no shameful Christmas We again can walk proud and tall
