If high moral character is a requirement, why did Jesus pick Peter....a guy He knew would deny he knew Him?



Is high moral character a requirement to live at NTM Homes?

Build a legacy. Many missionaries’ children become missionaries and pastors and church leaders. So when you are teaching, you are helping nurture and develop tomorrow’s leaders.

The world goes round and round.....but tribers still make it clear.....the best and brightest kids go into "ministry".....those are the ones that are "with it".

Romans 7

What would NTM admission coaches have done with Paul?

When "high moral character" is a requirement, it makes it all the more difficult to acknowledge you have sin in the camp.

In other words, how can you have a bunch of people of high moral character sexually abusing kids?

It's simpler to act like the kids don't exist or attempt to destroy their credibility, than it is to deal with the horror of the past decades.



If tribers actually believed the Bible (including Romans 7.....and Joshua 7), things would be a lot simpler.

Until NTM stops disqualifying honest, earnest Christians who desire to minister cross-culturally, merely because they have been divorced, it will be hard to believe this mission has changed at all in the past 20 years.

A fine young man I know was disqualified from entering NTM's Bible School, solely because he had a modest car payment to make every month. This rejection dramatically altered the trajectory of his entire life from that point.

Shame on you, NTM. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. Or majoring on the minors. Or pontificating about the speck in your neighbor's eye while carrying a plank in your own.

For shame.
