And herein lies the great concern. IHART will do it's job well and effectively, recommendations will be made and they will end up in the hands of people who believe or suggest that "it was all a conspiracy and that the victims colluded and made it all up".

If the powers that be did indeed question a victims honesty in very recent times (and the weight of evidence and historical track record would suport this did occur), then moving to lawsuits becomes more of a viable option, for we may have just had a glimpse of what the future will be otherwise.

So lets see if I can deduce this correctly:

Jane Doe 25 states she was abused in Senegal, by one Dave Brooks.

GRACE did a thorough investigation into the abuse saga in Senegal.

NTM accepted the findings of the GRACE report.

Now we have unknown members (please feel free to enlighten us with what positions these people hold) of NTM saying that a Senegal victim is making her story up.

Does this ring alarm bells for anyone else?

Will the IHART report be accepted as factual, but the victims as not be telling the truth? Doesn't this make no sense whatsoever?

If my deductions are right, is legal action becoming a much more viable and neccessary option?

I am an outsider looking in but NTM makes me so cranky. When will they ever start acting like Christians? Full stop.

If more lawsuits are filed I don't think NTM will survive because they just don't have the money. NTM has lost donors and continues to lose donors. As far as I know all the money they receive and all the property they have has been donated, they are not a business, they are a non-profit organization. If this is the way the victims believe they need to go with filing lawsuits then that's as it should be. If NTM closes down that's as it should be too. I continue to be shocked by the magnitude of what happened in the past. Thank you for posting the lawsuit, after reading that what else can one say. Any desire in me to even want to defend NTM has become weak and hollow in my ears. I don't have the heart to do it anymore.
