Yours made me grin, MamaBear.

This picture takes up most of my living room wall; a gift from my sweetie on my last birthday. A lot could be said about what it represents for me. Right now it communicates adventure... the unknown...a place I want to get to, with an element of risk. I probably would not think twice about actually stepping on this bridge (having crossed similar bridges in my lifetime), but in my life right now I can see where I need to go next, but stepping on the bridge that will take me there has me hesitating.

I was going to use a school photo taken in my first couple of weeks at Numonohi - NTM : PNG but decided I didn't want it staring back at me reminding me that it was the last photo taken before my abuse began in Givens Dorm. The change in how I looked in the next photo taken that year is dramatic.....a photo taken with fellow dorm inmates...speaks volumes.

Wonder Woman is someone I managed to see some of at my grandmas before joining NTM and again when we were on furlough. Wonder Woman was the only women I remember in my childhood who was allowed to have some freedom of speech, thought,make active decisions(other than what to cook) and fight back.

Your husband really is a great artist! It's difficult to draw insects at the best of times but a cartoon mosquito
adds to the challenge. Beautifully done.
