This is me, pre-dorm and that is our dog Muffin and our baby goat, Strawberry. Shortcake not pictured.Today I'm not bitter and I feel so fortunate that I've gotten to experience redemption, first hand. But sometimes I do wonder a bit wistfully who I might have been.

Yes, I have lots of pre-dorm pictures of my adorable daughters too.

And I wistfully wonder the same thing.

I briefly considered jumping on the "old photo" bandwagon, but decided to put up a photo of me now, with my little goat, Trinket. (Sadly, the photo shrinker cut off most of Trinket, but you can see his teeny face, at least.) My 7-year-old took this photo. This life is so good.

Interesting how animals feature in most of the Avatars posted so far. I shall consult the psychologist that I married for her pearls of wisdom on the matter.
Of course someone with a chainsaw, now that will take some in depth analysis, but I'm to afraid to go there .

This photo was taken in the first six months after we arrived in Brazil. Can you tell we were posing for a prayer letter? We were on our way to school . . .

Here's mine. It's a butterfly and dandelion in the Mt. St. Helen's blast zone some years after the eruption.
