According to my attorney we moderators/forum owners are NOT culpable for what is posted on this forum. He feels confidant that any attempted lawsuit would be thrown out. I"m not the slightest bit worried about that.

The list was deleted for the reasons I already gave. Not because we didn't believe some of the names nor that we thought we may be sued.

I would still like to mention Leslie Emory by name. We all have his admittance to some of the atrocities he committed on video. I think its safe to say this name should remain.

Les Emory's name is all over this site, list or no list, as it richly deserves to be.

I don't think he would want to sue anyone over that, but I, for one, would count it an honor to be the target of a defamation law suit by him!

"Slight correction. One of the names on the "summary of abuse", has served jail time for crimes committed while within NTM. It was not however NTM who placed him in the dock, but his brave victim. The fact that NTM Australia gave the order that the matter be not made public (despite being asked otherwise by those involved in the case) and their declining to answer any e-mails about the case, does not bode well.

This is wonderful news. Somehow, I had missed this good bit of information! It would be a service to us all if you could give us a link to information about this case, if there is such. Great PR for New Tribes "We-Were-Naive" Mission!

Two other former employees of New Tribes "We-Investigated-it-Ourselves" Mission have been jailed in America:

George Allen Goolde was sentenced to fifty years in 2006, for molesting children in his care.

Joel Price was sentenced in 2009 to 63 months in federal prison for possession of child pornography. This was a short sentence because of a plea bargain, by which the government dropped charges of distributing child pornography in return for a guilty plea.

Prior to his arrest and subsequent conviction, NTM had investigated reports about George Goolde and found "no incidents of concern."

So, the legal system in the Land of the Free and the Home of the New Tribes "Let's-Investigate" Mission is not without a couple of credits to their name!

I know myself it's good to take a little time away from this Site now and again. So many will understand when I say reading and posting on this site can provoke such raw emotions of every kind. Getting some head space is essential.....re-orientating ourselves to the beautiful things in our lives so precious.
