What state is that where the mosquito is the State Bird?

We were just visiting in a country where they say the National Flower is the plastic bag. Sad. And we saw them: Yellow/ blue/ red/ white. Some on the ground and some in bushes and trees.

No hints, folks, no hints! Nice try.

Re. NTM's rules on physical contact. I remember as an 8yr old that a senior female student was stood up in the evening church service in the middle the congregation in the gym on base while she was humiliated and degraded for improper contact with her boyfriend who was leaving to go back to the US. Even as an 8yr old I felt her humiliation and brokenness.

For those of us who didn't live a fantasy land or have our heads in the sand NTM was one violation after another.

Re the MK who was humiliated in front of the congregation. Let me hazard a guess, her life turned out to be a complete mess and she (like many of the female MKs of our era) was sexually abused? After all this was the era of Jim Given as a dorm parent, one on base personel who was jailed and two other paedophiles who because of their roles had direct access to many of the children in a one on one basis.
Just out of curiosity, who instigated the humiliation in front of the congregation? Reason I ask is that the Field Chairman at the time I'm pretty sure was Dean Van Vliet, who was dismissed from NTM for shredding evidence, the Principal was Jim Finnamore who held files on all MKs and used them to blackmail us and there were quite a few other dubious characters with crimes to hide that making an example of someone else would divert attention from themselves.

Bemused I'm not sure who the Field Chairman was at the time or who instigated the degradation of this
lovely "non American" senior student. She had a beautiful heart and I just remember feeling her brokenness. Have heard on the grape vine that life hasn't been kind to her and I wonder how much of it is totally related to her life as a part of the "institution" and misery that was cultivated by NTM.

There were many methods used in the deflection of attention from the racists, head cases,people with hands in the cash register and child sex abusers. Most of these methods were used abusively on Non Americans who just about couldn't breath without getting permission from the board. Heaven forbid anyone find out about the mess they were hiding at the Numonohi office.

When it came to deflection and distraction NTM are masters at it. Perhaps they could contract themselves out to the current US government to run some interference for them in the current elections.
