If the Titanic sinks, who gets the salvage rights?

Interesting question Bemused, you are thinking. But it's a fair question, after all big ships have gone down before and usually there are a string of debt holders waiting to be paid. But NTM is asset rich and the only debts it probably owes is to human souls, not wallets.

There are some wise NTMers who have publically stated that NTM may not survive this and look how it has fragmented itself into autonouous countries, an interesting development?

So you are thinking, does this Bemused know something we don't? Maybe he does, but it is only because he's got his eyes open, he hasn't had any Devine revelations of late.

In that case you may be speculating that Bemused is getting his hand ready to accept some of the salvage. Ha, ha, don't be silly, Bemused predicts there will be an unholy rush of previously never heard of NTM related people who will move heaven and earth to get their claim on the salvage rights, after the lawyers have got their fingers out of the cake. And Bemused doesn't follow crowds.

So if the Titanic sinks, who will be there to help the wounded and who will be there to get what they can before it goes to the bottom?

Child sexual abuse is a large problem that has occured in many schools.

The difference between a boarding school like NTM and a secular school is that the bar was set much higher. Remember those long lectures of the evils of fornication, of touching a member of the opposite gender e.t.c. Remember the lectures and punishment if one did engage in such activities. But then what we found out is that those who enforced such rigid control, did not abide by their own rules. Some of it reads like an orgy in a convent, more do what I say, not do what I do. And it wasn't so much as, "oops look the other way" as "cover it up, because it never happened".
The other difference I suspect is that those who we should have looked up to, not only helped themselves to our bodies, but were hell bent on taking our minds too. The obsession was with power, the power to control others. But then look at the whole reason our parents were where they were. Technically it was to "share" the gospel, but in my sojourn through the missionary experience it wasn't so much "share" as "shove" it upon others. If you have something truly wonderful, then it is easy to share. If you've made a complete mess or farce of it, then no one will want to share it, therefore to attain the goal one must shove it, which defeats the whole purpose of the exercise in the first place.
And therein lies the difference. A good missionary is someone who lives the good that they believe and therefore can share their faith or experiences. A poor missionary is someone who expects others to live the good that they may believe, but doesn't do it themselves.

NTM spent four long years training missionary candidates, and somehow many of them still did not exemplify that core truth.

Please no accolades, I'm hardly a theolgian. Just a Sympatetic Agnostic from the bottom of the globe, who indulges in a bit of common sense.

It's a bit like sharing candy with a friend. If your friend is sucking on something and their face is screwed up, but they tell you it's nice, you are less likely to believe them and want to share the candy, than if they have a big grin on their face and they tell you it's nice.
