So, folks from Send International are investigating its fellow associate member, New Tribes.

How much would ABWE have charged?

Lots of peace
Lots of love

Your honor, it's true I'm being charged with burglary, but I've hired a fellow bingo player to investigate the incident. Don't bother the police and prosecutors. They're busy with the Trayvon thing. Once my fellow bingo player, Biff, has fully investigated the matter, she will slip a copy of her anonymous findings regarding something that happened who knows when on who knows what continent....she will file that with the local police department by slipping it under the door of that big green metal box in the back of the parking lot, marked "dumpster". Your honor, you will appreciate the irony...just last year, I investigated Biff for burglary as well. These investigations have really brought us all together which is what all of this is about.

The Child Safety and Protection Network

CSPN ITT
August 28-31, 2012
@ The Hideaway
Colorado Springs, CO

Click "UPCOMING EVENTS" tab at the top of the page for more information and to register.

The Child Safety & Protection Network is a collaborative network of mission agencies, faith based NGOs and international Christian schools intentionally and strategically addressing the issues of child protection. The Network began in September 2006 and now has 40 agencies who have participated in the network in the past or have shown an interest in becoming part of the network.

One of the outcomes of the network collaboration has been the creation of mandatory minimums called "Best Practice Standards for Child Safety" which were adopted by the Network organizations formally in January 2009.

The Network also facilitates sharing of resources in both prevention and response and collaboration and consultation on response teams.

Instead of the Collective Self-Preservation Network, here are two suggestions, cloaked in love and peace:

1) parents live with their children;
2) when someone commits a crime, call the police....the local police

Investigative Team Training
August 28-31, 2012
Colorado Springs, CO
This will be the only ITT offered State-side this year.

Space is limited to 24.

The Child Safety Investigative Team Training (ITT) is geared for Missions Organizations and International Christian Schools who have been approved as Associate Members of the Child Safety & Protection Network, completed or are in the process of drafting their child safety policies, and wish to train a team within their organization in the area of organizational response to child abuse reports regarding staff or children within their organization.

To attend the ITT training, several prerequisites/requirements must be met:

you personally have attended a CS&PN orientation session
your agency/organization is an Associate Member of the CS&PN
you can and will attend every ITT session beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28 through lunch on Friday, August 31
Associate Members are asked to send a minimum of 2 or 3 team members (unless others from the organization have already attended one of the trainings) who have been specifically tasked with conducting internal investigations for their organization.

Prior to attendance at the Investigative Team Training, agencies are asked to commit to the following:

identify investigative team members who fit the criteria (sample listed in BPS p. 36)
review together your agency response policies and procedures so that the investigative team training will build well on them. It will be particularly important to:
cover the child abuse reporting form, (a sample listed in BPS pp. 33-35)
the possible outcomes of an investigation, (a sample listed in BPS p. 27)
the policy regarding administrative outcomes, (a sample listed in BPS p. 28)
and investigative interview forms your agency utilizes.
bring your agency's child safety policies and procedures with you to the training (regardless of where in the process they may be, even if it's in draft form).
If your agency fits this criteria, we would like to invite you to the Child Safety Investigative Team Training -- August 28-31, 2012.

This workshop is staffed by child safety and protection network team members. The training is hosted at The Hideaway in Colorado Springs, CO.

If you personally have not attended a CS&PN orientation, you will need to attend orientation as it provides the foundation for the training that follows. Orientation is Tuesday, August 28 at 8:00 a.m.

Orientation seeks to provide a common foundation regarding the reality of abuse in mission settings, how abuse occurs, and a basis for both prevention and response and to provide information regarding the goals and progress that has been made to date on the Child Safety & Protection Network.

This event is limited to 24 participants.

=================================================================

Dear 24 participants,

Save all that airfare, lodging, meals, registration, orientation, breath mints,.....and just send out an e-mail:

1) Parents should live with their children.
2) If a crime is committed, call the local police.

Wal-Mart just called....they've got a little FCPA problem (google, google...it is your friend....it is full of love and peace) down in Mexico....well, actually, the problem went arriba, arriba all the way to Bentonville, Arkansas.......anyways, they wanted to hire people experienced in dealing with public relations disasters. They have turned down candidates and resumes from Tyco, Enron, Acorn, Newt Gingrich. Wal-Mart says they are tired of dealing with amateurs. They want somebody from New Tribes.

Look, Wal-Mart, even though you've destroyed thousands of small businesses, I'm going to hook you up with the pros. But don't call. Drive.

It's 198 miles to Camdenton from your global headquarters in Arkansas.

Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations.............that won't impress tribers. No, Walton family, get ready to learn how they operate in the big leagues.

Peace to all.
See how positive I can be.....I'm even marketing New Tribes Mission. Can't you just see Shortmeier on the board of Wal-Mart? Imagine how many Kodiaks.....they'll have Kodiaks on the top of every Wal-Mart....they'll have more Kodiaks taking off and landing at the Mok tribe than they have 767's landing at Atlanta Hartsfield. http://flightaware.com/live/airport/KATL

Love to all
peace
harmony
