We watched it too - yeah, I agree Tuti - he could have taken that opportunity to apologize to his victims! Shows where his heart is.

I just watced the video and am sickened and angry! This man should not have one moment of peace as long as he lives! NTM should be so motivated to prosecute this man that they would crawl on thier hands and knees over broken glass from Sanford to the governor's office hounding him to prosecute this man.....Where is the fire for justice NTM?

Les is so incredibly detached ... he truly doesn't get it, and never has. I think that shows just how sick and twisted he is. Not normal at all. Not for one second do I believe his claim that he has not touched another child since 1993.

Thanks to all my Forum Family who have supported me all day today. I wasn't able to talk to my husband about this till this evening. Hadn't cried all day. Till I heard my husband's voice.

Exactly Raz I don't believe him for a second either about his claim that he hasn't touched another child.

To me this is a type of blasphemy that I find really irritating when he goes on about "the Lord this and that". It's like he uses Gods name for protection or something like he thinks if he says " the Lord" that somehow that makes it less repugnant than it is. He says it was horrible what he did but he does not take real ownership like - I'm sorry for what I did, it was wrong, I really hurt those children and their families, I've spent years trying to compensate them for the harm I caused them. He does make this statement toward the end almost like an afterthought that oh yeah I'm supposed to say that I hurt someone and I'm sorry for it "If you have any kind of heart at all, you don't lose the fact that you hurt so badly individual people and families," Emory added. Meaningless words blah, blah, blah-Actions speak louder than words and I don't think he's done anything to help the victims.

He also says that he's spent years in therapy and has written letters to the victims, does anyone know if this is true? Maybe he just wrote them and never sent them. I would think that if he did send those letters they could be used as evidence against him. Again it's all about him and what he has been through as if we should feel sorry for him or something. He should be trying to make it up to the people he hurt not trying to get help for himself.

Tuti, to my knowledge, no, he did not spend years in therapy. He did spend a short time in therapy years ago, during which time yes, he did write some letters. Those letters and other forms of incriminating evidence abound. There has never been any doubt of his guilt. That is what has been so frustrating to those of us whose families he devastated. Plenty of proof. But no consequences.

Yes, he is almost jovial in the interview. He hasn't changed in 18 years. He is very detached from his crimes. That is what makes him so dangerous. He is a sick and twisted man, and very skilled at grooming and controlling his victims.

My focus and passion continue to be: please, someone (Someone!) put this man in jail! That is the only way the children around him will be safe.

Did any other news stations pick up the story? We need OT to put the interview out . . .
