Not too enthusiastic about sharing with NTM, actually, Andy.
Just heard of a leak within NTM that may lead to another dismissal.
That is within the 'new' NTM.
More interested in sharing with GRACE who would not dismiss us.
I'm sorry, Andy.
This may be bigger than what you know or can address.
If GRACE is not involved, it would be hard to trust NTM.
We do trust GRACE. They have shown themselves to be trustworthy, by their actions and not just by mere words.
So what is your recommendation, Andy? Do we share everything with GRACE and let them proceed to contact you, providing you make some legal commitment that you will not leak that info to anyone? How else can we know it will stay only with you unless we give our approval?
What is your current personal opinion of GRACE now that they appear to be marginalized?

In spite of the heaviness of the topic, this is a good group to be in. Encouraging.

I do apologize if I have missed this elsewhere, but just to be clear-

Can formerly abused MKs or their famliies report the abuse to an outside third-party *without* having to go through NTM and still have their abuses investigated by NTM?

If it is not set up this way, why isn't it?

Again, if I missed this, I apologize, but it seems to me you (NTM collectively) will glean more results and more people willing to tell their stories to an outside third party with whom NTM is committed to working and accepting their recommendations (such as GRACE), rather than having MKs go through NTM *first* and have NTM passing the information on.

I may be the only one who feels this way, but I kind of doubt it.

That information is contained in the reports NTM has received to date. I don't have a list of the reports or any stats from the reports. From reading this blog, I won't be surprised if there are investigations needed for every school that NTM operated in the 80's & 90's.
