I would wager that most NTMers have not read the GRACE report, and of those who have, only a few have ventured here to the forums.
I've written to every person that would be a parent to an MK that attended Via, or at least those that I have contact information for. I've gotten a varied response. Those who have taken the time to read the GRACE report are horrified at what we've endured, and as frustrated as we are with the lack of communication from anyone with the power to do anything about it.
Others I've spoken with have said that reading the GRACE report on Fanda's abuse put them into deep depression and they didn't even know anyone involved. When asked if they had read the reports of abuse taking place in Vianopolis, they said they just "can't handle it." Too close for comfort, I guess.
Others have just simply dismissed us as a bunch of angry MKs that Satan is using to destroy people's testimonies and keep the Gospel from reaching the lost. (They said it in different words, but their message was apparent.)
I'm thinking there are some here (number unknown) who read, and grieve. However, I'm not convinced that they have the power within themselves to stand up and speak up and voice their thoughts in this forum or in any forum. The group think, the NTM mentality, whatever you want to call it, pervades. It's that demon on their shoulder telling them to be quiet, crushing them with guilt and shame and fear. To squelch the demon, they do the opposite of what they SHOULD. They leave. They do life. They stay busy, and eventually, what they have witnessed here becomes just a dull, annoying hum in their ear, and they grow accustomed to it, and in time they no longer hear it.
We are white noise. And they are those soldiers, weary of the fight, who sleep through the battle. They no longer care who wins, as long as everyone keeps letting them sleep.
