Didn't/doesn't Colombia or Panama have NTM boarding schools?

Not anymore because the work in Panama is nearly completed. My understanding is every tibe has been reached. So, NTM is working on completing the church plants. Thus their are only a few children in Panama these days. I know one family who has children is home schooling. I'm not sure what other families are doing. It is also possible the one family I know may be the only ones with children in Panama.

Minda, are you thinking that maybe if there were sections on this Forum for the other NTM schools, MKs might post information on them that has not been brought to light before now?
I think that is an idea worth considering, if Kari would agree. Schools that come to my mind that don't have a section here yet are Panama, Indonesia, Puraquequara (W Brazil), Mexico, and I can't remember for sure now if Colombia had a school or not.
I am definitely NOT implying that I know of abuse in all these schools. I'm just saying we might want to provide a place where people can post if they wish.
There may be other schools I'm not thinking of right now ... someone can help me out!

Panama's school (Escuela Hogar Misionero) closed a couple of years ago. I believe I am not the only Panamanian MK on here. Many have suffered but not come forward yet. I am hopeful that they will follow the Fanda example and find some peace here.

Columbia had a boarding school, but I can't remember the name of it, and haven't heard whether the children there suffered abuse. Seems most of the boarding schools abused children, so Columbia was probably not an exception.

Thanks everyone for your input! Yes, Raz, it might encourage anyone, if there are any, in those schools to come forward. I didn't realize Indonesia had a school, or Mexico.

I was at pqq from 1960 to 1971 and I know of much spiritual emotional and physical abuse that occured during that time but no one from there is out here that I know of.

To state the obvious. . . New Tribes Mission knows which schools have had reports of abuse. They know when the abuse occurred, and they know when it came to light. They know the names of the perpetrators. They also know whether or not it was reported to the authorities in the land where the crime was committed, or in the passport country of the criminals.

Have they been "well advised" to continue hiding this information?

Why are victims and their families left to try to piece this information together on their own?
