dkr, I'm so sorry for what you've been through. I found great healing with a trauma counselor, even though she did not have a close connection with missionary situations, she had great empathy and a feel for what I needed for healing. It was a worthwhile investment of time and money. Alot of mental fog comes from inaction. Sometimes I think we have too much to think about--that all of the talk about how much being an MK has broadened us, etc, etc . . .has made us I'll-equipped to handle the day to day. Figure out what you need every week to be healthy, and put that in your schedule. Mine is exercise, being outside, being with children, spending time with family, working with metals, wood. If you have a sudden spark of creative energy that makes you feel alive and present-- write that down! Pursue those paths and determine to keep the "shoulds" of our childhood from clouding the joy of today. Peace!

Found this interesting but so sad. Bill Spedding is considered a person of interest in the missing case of 4 year old William Tyrell. Bill Spedding was then turned in by a relative of sexual abuse of 2 children in 1987. He has been charged with this historical sex abuse and has been refused bail. He has denied any involvement with the missing boy but is said to have ties with a pedophile ring. I have a friend who knows him and can't believe it as he is a nice family man. I think we must take sex abuse, even in the past, more serious than most countries as they arrested him immediately after the info was given to them. Full stop.

Pamela, that is so chilling! It also makes a good case for those who know of historical claims to let the local police and FBI know in the present jurisdiction.
