Simply was thinking about the perspective of the abused people. But sometimes those of you WATCHING the victims have a better understanding of reality than the victims themselves.

And I totally agree that NTM does not have the right to decide who will face what consequences. That is the job of the third party investigators, I think.

I am still learning about GRACE. I know they are a non profit group helping mks but I don't know alot about the organization. How are they supported? Is there a way to help them financially?

Has NTM definitely said they won't use GRACE again? Is there another organization they might consider taking the place of GRACE? If they don't approve of GRACE for some reason surely there are other organizations like them who can help. It's not so important who does it, as that it gets done, even GRACE would agree with this.

timeto, if you look back on this thread, there is a notice that NTM and Grace are talking together about what to do next. So it looks like they are talking to each other. This is a thread of hope for me!! I am waiting patiently. Have already been waiting for over 17 years.

@ OT: it IS hopeful and something to be praised and commended. Larry and the boys ARE doing something tangible, other than meetings, to address, openly, and clearly what happened, confront the wrong doers, and REPORT their actions to civil authorities. A good, very good, beginning . . .waiting to see if the actions continue, and "no stone left unturned".

@MK Sheri: you are correct about Ted Bundy. The information you recalled is actually contained in a televised interview conducted by Dr. James Dobson during the last few hours of Bundy's life. If interested, I think you can purchase that interview. It was fascinating. Bundy DID repent and he showed this by respecting the judgment handed down, and willfully went to meet His Maker. You could definitely tell he was a different man, one chastened and ready to pay the penalty.

I am hopeful also, and do see signs that things really are changing.

I suggested this once before, but this is probably a good time and place to repeat it. I think that (once they have a moment to get their heads above water), the EB hold a public and well publicized news conference to go over what has already been done in the Fanda case, and to come forward with the details of the other already known and documented cases. There certainly needs to be further investigation of how those cases were handled and other victims, but I think the principles of what was done through GRACE could be applied immediately.
