Oh Lord, it's us again
Life has been pretty strange
But things are looking up
And we're grateful for the change

We've been through the valley
Of depression and despair
Then stumbled up the mountainside
And found others that really care

Our burdens are much lighter
We give thanks for this fact
And rejoice in the freedom
That comes with lightened pack

But dear Lord there are others
Who we see existing day to day
Not knowing what to do
And even to afraid to pray

We see some who go on in parents footsteps
To scared to step out of line
Despite being adults themselves
Their will broken in words devine

But those words were not Yours
This we've come to know
And we pray for those who just exist
And cannot overcome and grow

We thank You for each other
The company we now keep
The friendships that mean so much
And run so very deep

May we all reach the point of real living
Far from past hurt and hate
So we can reach our final destination
Having truly lived and a little late

This really is church.

For some of us, anyway.

Awesome!! By choosing to live and not simply exist, one rises above the cruel Ntm reign of the past! Unfortunately it is not so easy. Especially when the biggest offenders tend to live in the nicest of homes with comfy lifestyles.

Ah. But as the good book says "Better to live on the rooftop with fellow friendly MKs, than to live in a mansion with . . ."

O.k. so my knowledge of the Good Book is woefully rusty, maybe Raz who has been to Church twice today (ummm Which Church was that Raz? ), might be able to fill us in on the actual translation of those words of wisdom.

In the meantime, in my little piece of paradise on the rooftop, I have put out the "Welcome Mat" and the dog is wagging his tail, so do drop on by and stay a while .
