This week has been GOOD.

G R E A T

I did it.
I got there.
I made it thru the many hardships, the detours, the 'missions impossible' (I also had an amazing 'team' behind me)...

I got TWO degrees, TWO diplomas in the mail this week.
One came on Wednesday. Framed already.
The second came today. Will frame this one next week...

Might be the FIRST time in many many many years that I am patting MYSELF on the back, telling ME that I am ALL THAT, and then SOME!!

Those hiking boots are making great strides!!!

Put those degrees up on the wall where everyone can see them. You have worked so hard for soo long for those. They will remind you that you indeed are made of the right stuff, you are smart, hard working and well, pretty damn awesome.

And you have some GOOD friends!

I have said my congrats on FB and on phone and just to remind you....you have been my hero since I was 10 yrs old! You are a fighter, a brilliant mind, beautiful inside which makes your outward beauty that much more beautiful, you have endured more trauma and tragedies than anyone I have ever know or possibly will know. Keep going.....girl.

Now for the next mountain - let's get that leg fixed!! The mountain I will climb with you and carry you as your leg won't allow you to. I won't tire, grow week or give up when that mountain may seem impossible for me to climb and keep carrying you. As I will have your strength carrying me. We can do this. No one will tear this team apart again and NO one will make us forget why we came into each others lives 30 yrs ago. We never forgot each other ieven in the midst of traumas right when we me that have been blocked and locked still. I remembered the day, the promise and where you were from. You remembered a face with eyes that haunted you. Those pieces as tiny as they were helped us find each other again......even continents apart!! So my friend we completed our promise to each other made the night I was rushed away and I risked going back on the compound to say good bye and promise you I would find you again and we would play in the rain dancing like silly little girls. I remember that night for you
