So on that assumption, even when there is no further need to participate in the coverup (assuming that while an active member, it is not in ones best interest to stick ones neck out), it sounds like participation is just a normal way of life.

Believe me, the first part has a lot to do with the second part of that story. There are many negligent and I might say "guilty" in this. Your rape was the beginning of the downhill spiral for you and I reckon one reason was you had no support from your initial rape. Your rape was with you 24/7 and even though you could never take it away you needed all the support that anybody could possibly need. What happened to you was criminal. Like I have said before I am amazed people can look themselves in the mirror, or a shop front window or any reflection of themselves. Shame on them! Full stop.

Well I added my wee voice today. Posted off a snail mail letter to Tony Abbott with a cc to Prime Minister Gillard and CrossViews Australia. Lets hope that small time people like me all do the same and show those in positions of power that we expect them to act (with that power) for the sake of children (whether they are Aussies, Kiwi's, Americans etc).

One more stick on the fire under that cauldron. Adding to the steam for you Maire.
