Imagine how big the story will be when a large religous organisation that Australasians are involved in hits the headlines.

Now there's action.
What would that look like in terms of a large religious org.?

All members can immediately shift to (names) other religious orgs and will be welcomed in along with their ideas/ dialogue/ personhood intact/ ETC. IN YOUR DREAMS.
But it would be interesting to think about this.

I was talking to a gentlemen last Saturday at a Wal-Mart in Asheville. He fought in Korea. Did his basic training at Fort Knox. He was in the army for 2 years. He lives in Black Mountain, NC, and worked with heating and air-conditioning most of his adult life. He likes to go on cruises with his wife (who at that moment was was wandering through the aisles, much like my wife and a couple from Brazil--the old codger and I had the best seat in the house...those little benches just past check-out...sort of like sitting in the hospital waiting for the baby to be born). On some Saturdays, he and George Beverly Shea have coffee together in Black Mountain. My Wal-Mart bench-by-the-door friend says he doesn't plan to vote Democrat this fall, but says Bill Clinton was our best president in the last 50 years and says Jimmy Carter was the president he most trusted in his lifetime.

Even though I don't him very well, even though I've never voted for the same people he has, even though I don't know where he goes to church, I really enjoyed getting to know him, and all I said in parting was, "Thank you for your service to our country." If I heard later that day that some kid who lives 3,000 miles away was posting online about how that guy had not reported a pedophile 30 years ago, my first inclination (for no logical reason) would be to be very deferential to someone who has lived the "American dream" and sits patiently waiting for his wife after 55 years of marriage.

Imagine these churches and individuals who have been receiving mission updates, hosting missionaries in their homes, going to mission conferences, going on short-term missions trips....since 1942. They probably have a hard time believing anyone in New Tribes is capable of the horror documented on this website.

Tribers, I don't write this to make you feel better. I write it so you'll understand another layer of blindness and insulation that keeps you from dealing with reality. The people that support you financially will, by default, support you, as they always have. View this as a great danger which keeps you from demanding any real action/change, and which thereby puts you, perhaps, more and more in the crosshairs of the One who has been described as a "consuming fire".

(CNN) -- Penn State's legal battles continued Wednesday with the university's primary general liability insurer filing a motion claiming coverage should be denied because the administration failed to disclose what it knew about former coach Jerry Sandusky's behavior, according to legal documents.
The motion, filed in common pleas court by the Pennsylvania Manufacturer's Association, says Penn State did not provide it with information relevant to the insurable risk the association assumed. The association has already sued Penn State over the coverage of one of Sandusky's victims' claims against the university, filed in November 2011.
The association has insured Penn State under general liability policies since 1976.
"It would be unlawful and contradictory to public policy to require PMA to provide coverage to PSU under any policy issued to PSU after May 1998 with respect to PSU's concealment of Sandusky's sexually abusive conduct ... and failure to take appropriate action to prevent Sandusky from molesting minors," the motion read.
