Ok.
I understand that there is a great deal of anger and bitterness about so many facets of the abuse and subsequent tragic mishandlings of the fallout. But to me it seems as if people on this site are actually hoping for these investigations to fail. Self perpetuating cynicism is arguably a problem very evidently displayed on this forum. Believing that you will surely get 'stiffed' from the investigation will cause you to only examine the (perceived) negatives and be blind to every positive. Sidenote- saying you are unwilling to be involved in the investigation and then getting upset about the outcome is akin to those who never vote then complain about the government. Your argument doesnt give you a leg to stand on. If history has taught us anything - wouldn't you want these investigations to be handled properly? That takes time, effort, money, etc. Dont we want this to be done the right way? I honestly can not even fathom the effects that abuse has on a person- so justifiably you may say I have no right to post on here. Fair enough. But - If you place the sins and crimes of the past on people who are currently trying to right the wrongs- then your righteous anger is sorely misplaced.

30 years is not getting "stiffed". It's a lot worse than that.

Why does "perceived" precede "negatives" but not "positives"?

My family has fought in every major conflict this country has been involved in since the Revolutionary War. My youngest sister, kicked out of Vianopolis by the same mission which protected Frank Parker, served for five years in the U.S. Army, including one year in Iraq.

We can complain about whatever the hell we want to complain about for as long as we want to complain about it. New Tribes Mission deserves to be burnt to the ground. Contrary to New Tribes Mission, we believe in the rule of law and due process.

As far as participating in this "investigation" sent from heaven, my seven-month pregnant sister (expecting her third child) drove 1:15 to an airport, flew to Wichita, Kansas, and met with New Tribes investigators in October of 2010. She was told that everything she would say would be kept confidential.

Everything she said was then stored on New Tribes servers (by Andy's own admission).

Tell me more about the positives.

And the circus continues...the (freak)show must go on!

I'm not convinced one iota that NTM has genuinely changed their ways. I'm convinced they know how to play the legal system to their advantage, thats what I'm convinced of.

mks don't like arguing too much, especially not at crime scenes......and whatever we do, we can't speak ill of New Tribes Mission....they are the mother ship which guides and directs our lives beyond the grave......they even have a special line of underwear, like the Mormons
