I also was encouraged by talking to the team. I thought they were professional and yet caring and very sympathetic.

I also got a call just the other day to let me know that they would be filing my statements with the police in Sanford but that nothing would probably be done with them there( just a formality they have to follow).

I asked if we would have access to their report when it was finished and was told it would be sent to NTM and it would be up to them. I said,"so probably not" and the reply was "that is the sense I am getting, but you can contact them and ask to see it".

It's our lives. I feel we have a right to see it.

Because NTM has so much influence in Sanford that they control the media AND the police?
We have sent the GRACE Report around, knowing that some churches and individuals would not have access to it, neither would their NTM contact tell them about it.
They answered immediately. They expressed concern. They DID NOTHING.

What? Our colleages name is BEMUSED not Befused and I think it is obvious he has been working damn hard to sort this NTM child abuse crap out.
Bemused compliments another person on their excellent writing (which has strong similarities to what he writes) and he gets this constant niggling from an annoying mosquito. You may not have noticed, but much of the humour on this site is written by guess who.
Notice Demostenes Dalai Mud Lama has said he has trouble believing in God, will he now be subjected to a good dose of preaching too? Doubt it, that only seems to be reserved for us downunder, the uneducated, the ones who were second class MKs all those years ago.
Lets face it, I'm an Australian, we have a reputation for calling a spade a spade and although we take the piss out of our Kiwi cousins on a regular basis, if someone messes with our cousins we don't take it lying down. Our Kiwi friend is far to polite to say any of this, but perhaps if you got to know him too, you'd see what a hardworking conscientious caring soul he is.
So take Demostenes Dalai Mud Lama advice, buzz in NTMs ear and be grateful for those who post here day after day, making us think, laugh, cry and feel that someone actually cares!

I have been writing to Befused for a long time and I appreciate everything he stands for.
"Befused" is what Red Barren called him once and it is my term of endearment for him because it is so totally the opposite of who he is.
I also have a long history with the Dalai Lama.
As I recall and you can read back to get the jist-----it was Befused Himself who started the "preaching" without really preaching since he doesn't believe in it. And I don't consider one half sentence to be "preaching" either.
Well, in all good faith (oops!) I am signing off for now.

I have been reading all the Downunder comments and I am sorry for what happened in PNG and think it's horrible. I was really not aware (until reading here) of the Kiwi-Aussie controversy. It happens everywhere---in the N. part of the U.S it's the Finns and the ??? probably the Swedes. Part of life on the planet, not that that makes it right---or pleasant. It's the farthest thing from my mind to take part in it.
Don't you get the sense that I hate this whole thing as much as you do and want to see some pro-activity on the part of NTM as much as anyone?
