The Grace Report was released in August of 2010. That was over fifteen months ago. One of the recommendations the GRACE team made to NTM-- page 65 – was that a Comprehensive Leadership Inventory and Inquiry be made “…with every current member of the mission and every individual who has left the mission within the past five years for the purpose of”:
1. Conducting a thorough inquiry to obtain truthful and objective data regarding current leadership philosophies and styles of every NTM field and those who serve on the Executive Board.
2. Acquiring information regarding any and all acts of leadership that may be categorized as abusive.
3. Demonstrating authentic repentance to members and non-members who have been (or currently are) hurt by such abuse in leadership.
My wife and I fit the category of: individuals who have left the mission within the past five years, and have heard nothing from the mission with regard to this subject. I have been looking forward to contributing “input” to this inquiry ever since the report was published. I’m sure many others have too.
It is obvious that NTM is having difficulty formulating a questionnaire to carry out this inquiry. With this in mind, it was suggested that we give them a bit of help in doing so…The purpose of this thread is to do just that.
If you are a current member of NTM or an ex-member please take a few minutes to formulate a question that you have been wanting to ask the Executive Board for a long time. Let’s help them “obtain truthful and objective data regarding current leadership philosophies and styles… or… regarding any and all acts of leadership that may be categorized as abusive… or … have been (or currently are) hurt by such abuse in leadership.” If you have any other question or comment, as a matter of fact that you have wanted to ask NTM leadership regarding any other subject, feel free to do so also.
