IHART wants every one to know that the abuse has been reported to ICS, Dept of Homeland Security, FDLE (Florida Dept of Law Enforcement), FL Dept of Child Services, and at least one state law enforcement and are waiting to hear from them. IHART is waiting for those agencies to investigate the crimes and to contact them for survivor information.. |

Do we know how long they have been waiting? If I contacted law enforcement about a crime and didn't hear back from them in a very short time, I would assume my report had been buried under a stack of more recent reports. And forgotten. Just sayin'. |

Round up the offenders, put them in handcuffs and march them to the local Sheriffs office. There attach the handcuffs to an immovable piece of furniture and then tell the Sheriff that they have to do something pretty darn quick!!!!!!!!!!! If the Sheriff doesn't know what to do, then call the local media to come down and take some photos's and do some interviews. Over the top? Oh probably, but do we want to wait around forever, because we believe the word that someone (who we don't know) associated with an organisation that alas we do know, says they have sort of done the right thing? So next suggestion. |

hahahaha! But seriously, how can it hurt to do your own reporting? And your own follow-up? Why wait around for what we are not sure of--- We have waited for years. Is our trust in ntm and ihart that great? Don't be put off once again. |

My suggestion is that you contact ICE "ICE encourages the public to report suspected child predators and any suspicious activity through its toll-free hotline at 1-866-DHS-2ICE. This hotline is staffed around-the-clock by investigators..... Predators Face Severe Penalties Several laws increase the probability that sexual predators who harm children will suffer severe consequences, including the Mann Act, the 1994 Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Act, the 2003 Protect Act and the 2006 Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act. Federal law bars U.S. residents from engaging in sexual or pornographic activities anywhere in the world with a child under 18. ICE works with law enforcement agencies and advocacy groups around the globe to investigate crimes of this nature. Those convicted in the United States face significant penalties: Up to 30 years in prison for possession, manufacture, distribution of child pornography Up to 30 years in prison for traveling child sex offender, facilitator of sex with children, or a participant in these crimes Up to a life sentence for sex trafficking children for prostitution" http://www.ice.gov/predator/ If you wish to fill out a form online you can do it here http://www.ice.gov/exec/forms/hsi-tips/tips.asp I have found that the people in ICE are very kind. If you know of an abuser please turn them into ICE. If you want more info personal message me. |
