I know nothing about facebook , but writing e-mails, where do I start?

Alas many Tribers are very busy folk and are not able to reply to my kind informative e-mails. So I have to satisfy myself with lesser beings like Pres. Obama (who did get an aide to reply) and Tony Abbott (Prime Minister of Australia) who replied in person, which really amazed me.
Yes Bemused writes lots of e-mails, who replies and what they say is interesting. And every so often something turns up out of the blue and makes it all worth it, that makes up for he days when I think "why do I bother?".

Yes Numonohi Christian Academy has a facebook website, but it seems to be not working at the moment. And lots of missionaries have facebook accounts, although quite a few have deleted all references to NTM from theirs of late, just like Crossview has. Annie Earls facebook site can no longer be found and the free Tom Randall site has gone AWOL.

So have I got this right? Brian Shortmeier was the headmaster/principal at Numonohi at the time that Lori was abused? I mean the same man that has been on this site once or twice saying nice and encouraging things?

Correct me if I am wrong as I am just catching up on the threads after a couple of weeks absence.

If he was in charge, then there is no way that any principal worth their salt would not have known about that episode of extreme abuse - especially if Lori had to attend class with a cushion. Is it not a smallish and insular school? Tell you what, the principal at my boys school of 800 (no boarders) knows in detail what is going on. That's how it works....least in the real world...and with good people in charge.

And as for the leadership unable to be "reckless with NTM" (see Gene's post several above) well that just sickens me. They care more for a corporate image than children. Who would've guessed that......
