Dear Dad I’d love to just sit down and chat But I know you won’t listen Years of experience have taught me that I’d like to ask you How much of my childhood did you know Were you to busy with your bible To watch me learn and grow You didn’t tell me you loved me Because you were busy with “The Son” Life was endless religious nonsense It wasn’t good old childhood fun Were you to busy or just blind To see what others came to do Raping, beating, warping And not just one or two I’d like you to look at me And answer did you really know Or did you close a blind eye Just to keep up the religious flow What if it had been my sister Would you have even cared Or would you have committed it to your god So your faith could be spared If you could read what I read The trail of tragic waste Would it leave in your mouth The same bitter taste Or are you just hanging on Till you get called to your god above So you can tell him you served him well Sharing his unending love May your god have mercy upon you If I ever find out in this mess you had a role to play For there will be no forgiveness Coming from me, your way Dear Dad, it will soon be to late For time goes not slow Did you or did you not in your heart of hearts Really know |

Bemused, you are not the only child with such a father. This message could be sent to countless other Dads in NTM. And to men in many other ministries all over the world and through the decades and centuries. What a terrible, terrible price to pay. Like Abraham of old, these men sacrificed their children for the sake of "the call" from God to give him their all. But for these children, there was no substitute ram in the bushes. In their blind devotion, their fathers ignored their struggles and stabbed them in the heart. They left them bleeding on the altar, and walked away. |

MK here from another mission........you are not alone in your fight. We at other missions have experienced some of the same horrors BUT I have to say, I have never seen the horror on such a grand scale as those MK's from NTM. I WEEP FOR YOU AND WITH YOU!!!!!! And just so you know, there are some of us who are working with you to fight these atrocities and bring them to light so that all will know and justice will be served!!!!!!! We stand with with you in this war, one battle at a time.......Do not give up!!!!!!!!! Lara |

Lara, Well said, this mission is not isolated in what went on but oh my so many children, so many young innocent ones. I am encouraging anyone to please go to Biblical Accountability in Missions and vote on the latest poll. This is one pedophile, Dr. Donn William Ketcham, but he had lots of victims. Same story, cover up and protection because he was a doctor and friend. I wish I knew the names of people who voted yes on this poll so I could warn all children including my grandchildren to stay away from them. These mission board/agencies need a clear message sent to them and I just don't think they are getting it. Full stop. |
