That's not forgiveness, that's making the wrong decision for the wrong reason.

And the reasons are cowardice and money. It costs to stand up for the abused! Abusers abuse because they have an imbalance of power in their favor. They often have money and power, so cowards take the easy route and offer forgiveness in exchange for a cut of the money and power.

Being a hero and standing up to this nonsense costs. But what value do we put on a childs life? Because forgiving these monsters sends the clear message that they can get away with it and the only crime they have committed is they were stupid enough to get caught. So next time, and bet your bottom dollar there will be a next time, they will have figure out a way to not get caught!

We need to back our heros who fight this. Every damn one of them, no matter who they are, where they are from or what background they have! We need to celebrate every victory, every Scott Kennell that is taken off the street and locked up. We need to empower those who fight the good fight, not just sit back and be thankful we don't have to get our hands dirty.
We need to take the organisations who defend paedophiles by the throat and strange the life out of them. Cut off their money supply by exposing them for who they really are, cripple them with the truth.

Forgiving these monsters is crap, lock them up and let them pray for their own forgiveness to a God who has millstones aplenty.
