Meanwhile there are two others waiting for sessions, each to be allocated 6 sessions. So let's see that is 6 6 6 , hmmmmm now why does that number ring a bell |

Yes. That is just the way it was. So many little girls thought THEY were the special one. The only one. |

Obviously a sex offender must have a starting point where they deviate into criminal behaviour. From that starting point their techniques are honed and refined. What if in the early career of a sex offender they make a clumsy approach to a child (male or female) and the child feels uncomfortable or threatened by the approach and rejects the advance. Is it possible that the offender then moves on to other children, having learnt from their "clumsiness", but they bear an animosity towards the first approached child? Would this explain why some MKs have appalling relationships with certain adults, especially if the adult concerned is a parent? What then if the child or former child then sees the adult preying on other children and flashes back, what course of action do they take, if any? If the offender is a parent, does the child risk their own safety/emotions/family stability by addressing the issue, knowing the repercussions could be unpleasant to say the least? Thinking out loud on this one and wondering if anyone else has any insight? |

This sounds like a complicated, but very plausible scenario. An observation I have made about grooming is that I think many pedophiles know instinctively how to groom a victim, because they remember how they themselves were groomed. They remember the pattern. And they act it out again, as adult predators. It's a sick, sick cycle. |
