That's what we were taught to do, right? Minimalize it? My understanding growing up, was that there would always be dirty old men around . . .randy young ones, and worse yet, wild girls. Making too much of something, being emotional, not behaving as normal was greatly discouraged. Just musing tonight on how NTM got away with minimalizing the abuse at Vianopolis and other schools and places. It's dispicable, really. It's like if the story wasn't, "I was raped and sodomized 42 times" then the account didn't merit attention. And the victims continue feeling shamed. |

Its horrifically sad how NTM has handled this and more yet, how western media has failed us all. NTM has again, successfully played on the hearts of the ones it abused with forgiveness manipulation. The problem is, religion and abuse need to be separated when it comes to a legal nature. You are either going to fight it or sit on the fence and think if you do fight it, you are disrespecting your religion. |
