The helpful thread on PTSD (which has already been viewed over 700 times!) has got me thinking that it would be worthwhile to re-post some of the stories that have been written here on Fanda Eagles over the past four years. There may be some of our newer silent readers who wonder what the fuss is about. Horrendous abuse truly did happen in New Tribes Mission environments in decades past. NTM's tepid current response is inexcusable. Not everyone in NTM comprehends the depths of the depravity endured by many MKs in the past. We know that a number of current NTMers read this blog, so I think it is time to refresh some of these stories. Perhaps there are those who are now ready to add their own stories. Please feel free to do so here. Or if you recall a story that has impacted you, you can search for it and re-post it here, as I am doing. |
