The small clinic where I work serves the large migrant population in our area who come from many countries south of the border. But as my office mate/dear friend is from Mexico and I love her abuela's tamales, I will be rooting for Mexico.

Perhaps I'll support England, after all they have a habit of inventing such wonderful games that they teach everyone else to play and then can't win, so a bit of sympathy won't go amiss.

And I reckoned they'd do it again

But when I watched the tv
Beaming in from far away
I see those awful Dutchmen
Have finally learnt to play

And Spain got a beating
Five goals to only one
And I think the world cup STINKS!
Because my team has not won
