http://cryingoutforjustice.com/ What is Abuse? Very few people know what abuse really is, though everyone seems quite ready to give advice to its victims. If you believe that abuse is physical battering, you have some learning to do. Abuse is fundamentally a mentality. It is a mindset of entitlement. The abuser sees himself* as entitled. He is the center of the world, and he demands that his victim make him the center of her world. His goal is power and control over others. For him, power and control are his natural right, and he feels quite justified in using whatever means are necessary to obtain that power and control. The abuser is not hampered in these efforts by the pangs of a healthy conscience and indeed often lacks a conscience. While this mentality of power and control often expresses itself in various forms of physical abuse, it just as frequently employs tactics of verbal, emotional, financial, social, sexual and spiritual abuse. Thus, an abuser may never actually lay a hand on his wife and yet be very actively terrorizing her in incredibly damaging ways. Abuse in any of its forms destroys the victim's person. Abuse, in the end, is murder. * Sometimes the genders are reversed. Some good thoughts here on the subject of abuse. Someone else recently compared abuse to murder. It is true. Abuse is NOT just stealing a cookie. |

Abuse was when you said you loved me But your actions gave the lie Abuse was when you took my childhood And hung it out to dry Abuse was when I did my best And you praised some other kid Because your warped mind said On praise you must keep a lid Abuse was when you stole my toys And sold them to another Abuse was your arrogance That would not listen to another Abuse was when you saw skin color And judged before you knew Then told the world you went to save But you loved only but a few Abuse was when you chose To follow missions laws And on your own little children Slammed those heavy doors Abuse is now you know the truth And yet still you say it is not true Abuse is what you say And what you fail to do |

Abuse is being very big And not caring for the small Abuse is covering up those Who walked not true and tall Abuse is saying you love MKs Yet never knowing a name like mine Abuse is taking others money To live a life not divine Abuse is saying there was no abuse Or the law won't let you clean up your mess And hiding those who abused your MKs Who you still claim God does bless Abuse is spiritual mumbo jumbo And saying the Devil is to blame That there is to much of his temptation And he has caused the shame Abuse is saying it won't happen again Yet another goes to jail And you wash your hands of his deeds Then his victims you badly fail Abuse is calling an MK "former" Disowning another from your care Abuse is erasing those offenders Taking reports then not to share Abuse is telling the devoted That MKs have gone insane And that you have offered assistance When you know you are to blame Abuse is when there is no assistance Just threats of legal deeds Abuse is when you throw up the chaff And only keep the weeds Abuse is when caught lying You lie even more And then you shout "we love MKs" As you shove them out your door |

True love for fellow man is when a person is on a site like this helping others who they don't even know!!!!!!!! True love is doing the above, even when your own faith has been destroyed. True love is when you do the above, knowing that your name will quickly be forgotten by those you have helped, if they even knew it in the first place, but helping others anyway. True love is not being a Christian, it is living like Christ would have done, even if you don't see yourself as being a Christian. True love is what keeps this site going, because true love fights for justice for others, not just for oneself. True love does not live in the heart of a mission that does not have a heart. It lies in the brave individuals who serve others at their own personal cost, no matter who they are aligned with, because they have bigger hearts than any mission will probably ever have. True love is the person who sends you a personal message, just to make sure you are o.k. True love is the friends who love me despite what I have done to myself to make me unlovable. True love is what most of us spend a lifetime wanting, but looking in the wrong places for and then accepting poor imitations of because we can no longer tell the difference. |
