I think a lot of people believe that what we are asking New Tribes Mission for is impossible. It is not realistic. it would break some laws ... about employees, about privacy, about statutes of limitation ...
something. Something or other makes our requests impossible to grant.
Here is a good article which shows that it is NOT impossible. It is not impossible for people who were not directly responsible for abuse to admit that an institution or organization failed those who trusted it. It is not impossible to apologize.
“Whether through misnaming, or negligence, or avoidance, or fear of scandal, we failed … what we know to be most true about the Gospel,” Sara Wenger Shenk, seminary president since 2010, told the victims during a March service in which the seminary publicly apologized.
“We failed you.”Sadly, New Tribes Mission is still stuck at this point:
Victims and their supporters pushed for full disclosure of the abuse claims. Among their complaints was that the church had largely ignored the women’s welfare and was more concerned with restoring Yoder and his reputation. - See more at:

NTM preaches that to others. Have faith. Step out on the limb. Humble yourself, and God will lift you up.
It is not impossible at all. It is Biblical. It is the right thing to do.
Do the right thing, New Tribes Mission.
