From my childhood onwards I've been constantly told that the only way to true happiness is to subscribe to the narrow band of christianity that is NTM and similar groups. Anyone who claimed to be in a happy state, but did not subscribe to the former, was labeled as not being truly happy. The last time I heard this nonsense was two weeks ago. It got me thinking about the first time we met a NTM missionary. I remember sitting in the hospital grounds while my father went to visit him. The grounds were lovely, a soothing environment for the residents of the psychiatric hospital. How one is supposed to be truly happy, while suffering from severe depression is beyond me, but it is no doubt one of the anomalies of NTM that my simple mind cannot comprehend. The second NTM missionary (or it may have been the third) was instrumental in recruiting my parents into NTM. I'm not sure he was filled with happiness either, as he was unable to return to the field because of "mental health" issues (actually he was in jail, which isn't quite the same) some years latter. Happiness is a state of mind that comes and goes for most of us. It can be present in any of us and is not restricted to the few of any particular religious persuasion. |

That should have been the wake-up call, shouldn't it! One NTMer in a mental institution, and the other in jail. But no ... one must press on ... there is joy in serving Jesus. Etc., etc.

Mosquitos bite perpetrators and coverup operators After they are full. Then they have to vomit afterwards. But the bite still stands At least. Not a pleasant job! Actually it makes me sick.
