Ahhhhhh! But the Tribers in the mission don't really care what their leaders do. We love to preach about moral bankruptcy but when it stare us in the face suddenly it becomes so easy to justify...

Or better yet go ahead and stick your heads in the sand, put your fingers in your ears and sing loudly enough to drown out the voices. Go ahead and act like it doesn't exist ,it was faceless people decades ago. Besides, this is Satan trying to destroy the work.

When I was an MK in PNG, a family suddenly went home and the next field newsletter gave the explanation that it was because the wife had committed adultery.
Yet it was well known that one of the male dorm parents could not keep his hands off children and nothing was done and there were rumours of extra marital affairs (which turned out to be true) and again nothing was done.

While I hardly condone adultery, surely sexually abusing a child is a far more serious matter.

Was the female missionary named, shamed and dismissed because she was female, while male offenders were excused? And even when a male offender was jailed, the explanation was that he was on mental health leave!

In PNG there were different sets of rules, depending on the status, origin or gender of ones person. The field letter should have had a roll of shame, but it only ever had one name on it that I can recall and that was someone who made a mistake, not committed a crime in the eyes of the law. There was no forgiveness offered, just naming and shaming.

Guilty!

On their website, NTM is still making this claim:

"New Tribes Mission is entering a new people group every 45 days and believing that can be reduced to 30 days."

Can someone from NTM give me some kind of proof for this ludicrous claim?

You have been saying this for several years now. By now there must be NTM missionaries in hundreds of tribes all over the world, planting thousands of successful churches. (There is nothing on your website indicating that by your statement, you mean anyone other than missionaries who are trained at the training center in America, for which you are trying to raise money. That is a VERY obvious implication here.)

As one who spent a significant portion of my life in people group environments, I will tell you that this claim strikes me has highly inflated and self-serving.

I would like for New Tribes Mission to stop making this claim. Because it is simply beyond belief.

(Unless you have taken up some of the tactics you once ridiculed, and are now dropping leaflets out of planes onto remote villages and calling them evangelized.)

Stop making false claims just to try to make yourself look better. Just to try to raise more money from gullible Christians.
