I would have thought that New Zealand would have been called "Middle Earth".

Memo to Mr Bemused in Australia: Dear Bemused, We have a Red Carpet that is surplus to requirements and would like to send it to you, so that you can roll it out when some of our fellow countryfolk visit you down there in Australia. We don't use it much these days, as folks tend to leave by the back door and VIPs seem to be less common in these troubled times. It does come with a bit of dirt that has been swept under it, but we feel sure you will know what to do with that. This poignant poem was posted on the MK Safety Net website ( http://mksafetynet.org/content/if-love- ... -permanent ) and I love it so much, I am copying it here. I relate to such a depth it makes my heart ache. Ah, but your son and grandchildren are richly blessed, because they can e-mail and call their favorite mum/granny and get cyber hugs and all the TLC they need. Oh that all of us were so richly blessed with such. |
