This is real life after the mission and while in it. Hurt - Talking to god Mother is busy, she won't even miss me And so busy praying and wouldn't see me waiting I hate all your reasons they just point to Jesus You can't be awakened if you're not mistaken And i hate your voice and that fucked up noise And your cliches and the things that you'd say to me Where they burned me then, it still seers today Embedded in a memory that won't change How can you talk to God [3x] When you won't talk to me? Good Yunker so explains how someone feels when a parent is so heavenly they are ignorant of the world around them including their children. |

Yunker, I listened to this on Your Tube. Very moving ... it makes my heart so heavy. New Tribes Mission! New Tribes missionaries! MKs are saying: HOW CAN YOU TALK TO GOD WHEN YOU WON'T TALK TO ME???? Are you listening, at all??? |

Ah the good ole days when music was censored and rock and roll banned. Oh how I have wandered away from the straight and narrow as I listen to George, Paul, John, Ringo, Elton and Queen. Yes those were the days at Numonohi, when "The Demons tried to save me from Music". Right back to Cat Stevens  .

When dorm parents came from outside NTM families Who were more balanced and listened to the kids They were sent away Pretty quickly.

I had countless confiscations lol till finally I had had enough. At the time AC/DC was the devil it's self and guns and roses. I remember my Green Day tape being taking without my knowledge and shown to my dad. They sat me down all pissed off and wanted me to destroy the devil music. What a bunch of double standards these morons set. Should have charged they guy with theft. |

There was a dorm parent in my era who confiscated tapes from MKs and then sold them to others. Still trying to figure that one out. |

my dorm parent took my brother's tapes and melted them in the incinerator that heated our shower water. that is not relationship building. |
