Bemused, so sorry that is the situation you find yourself in, with your family having made the decisions they have...tough spot to be in and lonely. Seems like so many NTM families are finding themselves in this spot these days, divided and estranged. It is a sad commentary on something that should be so different!

We are traveling and will be for the next few months...will be checking in when possible!

There are many whose families have once again abandoned them. First as children when many were sent to boarding school. Others were neglected for the ministry. Now when the abuse is made public the family once again abandons in the name of loyalty to the mission. Orphans!

But we can create our own family. We love one another, we are honest and open. We accept each one where ever they are. We can be family and really live. Bemused you do have family here. Those of you who are hurting but don't talk here because of fear you can personal message. I will listen to your story will not share unless you ask me to. Don't have a lot of answers.

Happy July the 4th. Of course it is almost the end of July the 4th here, so thought maybe I should mention how I marked this auspicious day.

I donned my Red, White and Blue lycra top and shorts and went cycling with the faithful dog on the back. There was one of those big cruise liners in port so we cycled by to have a look. A group of American tourists were disembarking and wandering the streets and they were most impressed to see such a fine site as myself in patriotic outfit, complete with cute hound.
They cheered, waved and took pics as we whizzed by. And one even called out "Where Ya'll State from there, pardner", remembering my geography lessons I heartily replied "Quebec"!

To which the Yankee responded, "We shore is glad to be here vistin' New Guinea!"

Do you think they were lost on that "repentance cruise"?

I'm sure I heard one tourist say "look it's Bemused, I recognize the cute little dog".

Hahahahahah!
