I had heard that this was why NTM had chosen to fight the lawsuit because they wanted to go to mediation. I was told that mediation moves a lot faster and is less expensive for everybody concerned. Having said that I guess we will have to wait and see if that is the case. I'm proud of Jane Doe sticking with it and I pray she will get what she feels is a fair settlement.
It is absolutely nauseating that the creep Les Emory is still free as a bird.

I am containing my emotions as much as possible these days after the admonitions.
Child sexual abuse is nothing to get emotional/ sad/ frustrated/ or angry about.

But it may not last long........

mediation can go both ways.

I had mediation in the death of my husband, Dave, It was such a large case that there were 2 mediators. My lawyer figured that I would do better with mediations than to go before a jury. At no time was I told that I couldn't talk about it or discus any part of it, even after it was over. The passenger that was with my husband, on the other hand, was given a settlement and was not allowed to speak about it ever again.

It depends on the case and the demands of the persons you are working with.
