Disgraceful!!!!!!

We need to celebrate brave children like Malala Yousafzai, who stand up to abusers!!!!!!!

We should celebrate every MK who survives their abusive past and we should make sure the world knows who and where the abusers are, so everyone knows exactly where evil is lurking.

This week's blogpost by Boz is about the scandal at Hillsong in Australia.

The late founder of that church was a sexual predator and abuser of children. His son helped to cover up the truth and keep the victims silent. And he currently defends his choices to hide the crimes and not report them to authorities.

We have sung the praise and worship songs produced by Hillsong.

"How Great is Our God".

"All Things Are Possible".

"Shout to the Lord".

And so many more. How can a group that has inspired millions to worship God be so rotten at its very core, it's very base??

The parallels here are staggering to me.

I feel depressed and overwhelmed. I think I will just sit and ponder this a while.

Benjamin Ady Oct 18, 2014 at 2:27 am Wow. Good on Boz for writing this. Brian Houston has gotten way too much of a pass on this. He’s very connected into the halls of religious and political power here in Australia. I’m not surprised to see that pressure was brought to bear in such a way that the post was taken down. Hopefully it’s only temporary.

I'm not privy to the reasons the blog has been taken down, but having been threatened by Crossview in the past, I wonder if a bit of bullying is going on. Interesting development and well worth keeping an eye on.

And now the blog is back. This gets even more interesting.
