Let them know that IHART is not both investigator and jury. As you know, IHART conducts the investigation and reports their findings; IHART does not make recommendations or decisions about discipline. It is not an internal investigation and never will be, IHART is independent of NTM.

The responsibility for the resultant actions following an IHART investigation lies squarely on the shoulders of the New Tribes Mission-USA Executive Board. Let us be crystal clear on that.

IHART conducts an investigation and reports their findings to the NTM-USA Executive Board.

Recommendations are made to the NTM-USA Executive Board by a Recommendations Panel (selected by IHART, as far as I know).

All decisions about responses to those recommendations, or decisions about any sort of discipline, or decisions about what information to release, to whom, and in what form, are made by New Tribes Mission leaders. Not by IHART.

I guess Macon Hare hasn't heard of the abuse cases being looked at in almost every country they work in. How is that possible?
